Labor & Employment Associate Attorney - Chicago
Our client, an Am Law 200 firm, is seeking an associate attorney with 2-3 years of employment litigation experience to join their Chicago office.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of employment litigation experience, including experience with trade secret and restrictive covenant matters, and other complex disputes and litigations
- Stellar research and writing skills
- General knowledge of court filing procedures
- Big Law experience is preferred
- Federal clerkship experience is a plus
- JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
- Admitted to and a member in good standing of the Illinois Bar
Responsibilities:
- Conducting complex fact investigation and analysis
- Drafting pleadings and briefs
- Participating in expedited restrictive covenant and trade secret proceedings
- Supporting the labor and employment aspects of M&A transactions
- Communicating with clients
- Interviewing witnesses
- Drafting investigation reports
