Trademark Associate - Chicago
Our client is a top firm, seeking a trademark associate with 3-5 years of experience for its IP practice in Chicago. The salary range for this position is between $205k to $220.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in U.S. and foreign trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement.
- Experience managing trademark portfolios, advising clients on brand protection, and providing counsel on copyright and trademark licensing matters.
- Experience in TTAB proceedings and trademark disputes, drafting pleadings, and response briefs.
- Knowledge of copyright law, including transfer and licensing agreements.
- Prepare cease and desist letters, demand letters, and DMCA takedown notices.
- Experience negotiating and drafting licensing, assignment, and work-for-hire agreements for trademarks and copyrights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills; team focused.
- Strong analytical skills; team focused; strong client management skills.
