Boat Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in boat maintenance and repair, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of boats, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to diagnose and fix mechanical problems.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand boat systems and components.
• Fabricate parts as necessary to complete repairs or modifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in boat technology.

Experience

• Proven experience in boat maintenance and repair is essential, but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with welding, fabrication, soldering, and the use of various hand and power tools is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of boat schematics and systems is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.50 - $24.00 per hour
