Marine Craft, LLC is seeking a full-time marine technician to join our staff. Applicants must be safety oriented and work well in a team environment. The normal work week will be from 8:00 am-4:30 pm with a half hour lunch from 12:00-12:30 pm. Essential duties and responsibilities vary daily. Some of the daily duties will include but are not limited to; general vessel repair, electrical upgrades, engine repair, facility cleaning and maintenance, making supply runs, assisting with docking and tying up boats, and other tasks as required. Some offsite work will be required.
Previous experience is not required. We are happy to mentor, educate, and train willing and able applicants. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to ascend and descend a ladder. Must be able to work on boats without getting seasick. Must be comfortable working outside or in confined spaces. Must supply basic marine repair tools. Experience working on gasoline engines, diesel engines, marine electrical and electronics, fiberglass, carpentry, marine plumbing, and LPG systems is preferred.
