Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality control over assigned areas, following the guidance of executives and examiners to uphold our commitment to excellence.

- Commit to adhering to our policies and procedures, showcasing your extensive knowledge of consumer, business lending, and collections guidelines to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Diligently monitor business loans for precise underwriting and documentation, proactively preventing fraud and ensuring member trust.
- Expertly underwrite and review Home Equity Lines of Credit and business loans, ensuring proper collateralization for our members' security.
- Efficiently order appraisals for Business Lending to facilitate timely loan processing.
- Conduct meticulous quality control reviews over business loans to maintain our high standards.
- Perform due diligence reviews of loan pools to safeguard our assets and member interests.
- Craft and deliver compelling executive Quality Control summaries, clearly communicating testing results to stakeholders.
- Ensure every business loan complies with credit union policy and government regulations, protecting our members and the institution.
- Effectively review HMDA submissions, guaranteeing accuracy and timely reporting.
- Oversee the rotation and selection process for the credit union's approved appraisers' list, fostering excellence in our appraisal processes.
- Identify and address potential compliance vulnerabilities proactively to safeguard our operations and member trust.
- Implement and review collection notices and reports to ensure timely processing and accuracy.
- Implement and review IT updates and changes within the test and live environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and design effective testing strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on design and implementation.
Performance Requirements
· Ability to analyze Mortgage and Business Lending underwriting, risk rating, appraisals, and other related loan information.
· Effective oral and written communication skills.
· Effective organizational, technical, interpersonal, and telephone etiquette skills.
· Demonstrate an approachable style that supports a team concept.
· Be willing and able to work outside normal business hours when necessary.
Education and/or Experience
· High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is the minimum acceptable educational level. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred
· Prior experience in software quality assurance or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Communication Skills
Ability to use correct English grammar, spelling, and syntax in written and verbal communications is considered to be an essential qualification. Additional qualifications in this area are:
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
· Ability to write reports as needed.
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from department supervisors, members, senior Management, and the Board of Directors when applicable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
