What are we looking for?

ExacTech is excited to be adding full-time Steel Saw Operators to our 1^st and 2^nd shift teams. As a Steel Saw Operator, you will use a Marvel vertical band saw for cutting steel tubing, round tubing , flat bar and angles.

1^st shift: Monday-Thursday: 5:45AM-3:15PM; Friday: 6:45AM-10:45AM

2^nd shift: Monday-Thursday: 3:30PM-2:00AM

As our Steel Saw Operator, you will…

• Set up and prepare saw machine for operation.
• Read blueprints and job orders to determine product specifications. You will also measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Inspect steel and metal components for defects, imperfections, or irregularities before cutting.
• Maintain records of work completed, including measurements, specifications, and any issues encountered during the sawing process.
• Perform minor repairs or adjustments to keep machine in optimal working condition.
• Complete all other duties and responsibilities that are assigned.

We are looking for you to…

• Understand safety procedures and proper PPE usages.
• Be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Have the physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
