These rubber tired gantry cranes are used across the globe and offer lifting solutions up to 1,000 metric tons and larger.

Job Description

Marine Travelift / Shuttlelift is excited to be adding a full-time Industrial Sales Engineer to promote its Shuttlelift line of industrial lifting machines. Shuttlelift is a leader in the manufacturing of rubber tired gantry cranes for industrial applications like concrete, steel, mining, material handling and more. Job duties will include development of industrial sales for the North American region, working with internal team members, external customers and distributors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential clients within the targeted industries to expand the customer base.
  • Understand customer requirements, pain points, and challenges to recommend suitable products & solutions.
  • Possess a deep understanding of Shuttlelift’s product solutions & technologies to better serve our customers.
  • Translate technical specifications into customer-focused benefits and address any technical queries from clients.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and competitor’s offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate proposals, including cost estimates and timelines, in response to customer inquires.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients before and after the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • A strong candidate will have experience in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, as well as experience in Industrial Sales.
  • Positive technical skills would include a strong technical knowledge of industrial products, manufacturing processes, and engineering processes. This will also include the ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them.
  • Career skills would be excellent communication, presentations, and interpersonal skills as well as strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • The candidate we are looking for will be able to travel 40% of the time.
