Job Overview
Marine United is Southern Utah's premier Nautique, Chaparral & Sea Doo dealership. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ProShop Associate to join our team at Marine United. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assist customers through the proshop and give them knowledge and guidance about gear in the store that will fit their needs, cashiering / checking out items, unboxing / restocking inventory, maintaining store organization, and assisting with other daily operations. As a ProShop Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while ensuring that the store runs smoothly and is nice and organized.
Duties
- Available to work Saturdays during the summer months. Operating schedule during summer include: Tuesday - Saturday.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries to enhance their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with customers about purchases, storage or services.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing and restocking merchandise as needed to ensure product availability.
- Inventory management - keep track of current inventory & receive / unbox new inventory.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new items and promotions.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and improve overall efficiency.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including aisles, displays, storage room, checkout areas, ect.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse clientele - in person, on a phone call, through email and text message.
- Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers is preferred but not required.
- Strong product knowledge / boating experience to be able to sell and guide customers through the store to help them find what will best fit their needs.
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work well with others and take instruction from managers.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with keen attention to detail.
- Self starter, ready to work in a fun fast paced environment.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
