Overview

A Warehouse Associate is a professional responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind picking, packing, and storing inventory according to purchase orders and company policy. They play a critical role in ensuring timely delivery, loss prevention, and efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, you will:

• Process, Package, and Ship Orders Accurately: Ensure that orders are prepared correctly for shipping, following proper company guidelines.
• Organize Stocks and Maintain Inventory: Keep track of inventory levels, organize stock shelves, and maintain a well-organized warehouse.
• Inspect Products for Defects and Damages: Thoroughly examine incoming and outgoing shipments to identify any issues.
• Receive, Unload, and Place Incoming Inventory Items Appropriately: Handle incoming goods efficiently.
• Abide by All Company Safety and Hygiene Regulations: Prioritize safety and hygiene in all warehouse activities.
• Keep the Warehouse Clean and Organized Daily: Maintain a tidy and efficient workspace.

Daily Duties

Include, but not limited to:

Receiving and Processing Incoming Stock and Materials:

• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Notify management of any product issues
• Organize materials in designated storage areas.

Picking and Filling Orders from Stock:

• Retrieve items based on order requests.
• Ensure accurate picking to prevent errors during packing.

Packing and Shipping Orders:

• Pack items securely for safe transportation.
• Label packages with relevant information.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely dispatch.

Organizing and Retrieving Stock in the Warehouse:

• Maintain an organized layout for easy access.
• Rotate stock to prevent product aging.
• Optimize space utilization within the warehouse.

Keeping Quality Standards High:

• Ensure that all processes adhere to company quality guidelines.
• Prepare and sign off on documentation as requested for internal use.

Requirements and Skills

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Proven Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations is preferred
• Ability to Operate Forklift, Hand Truck, Pallet Jack, and Other Warehouse Equipment: Familiarity with handling equipment; training is available.
• Organizational Skills: Be a team player with strong organizational abilities.
• Physical Strength: Ability to regularly lift or move heavy materials up to 80 lbs. Occasionally lift up to 140 lbs*.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
