OVERVIEW:  The Administrative Assistant/Titling Specialist provides clerical and administrative support and  is responsible for providing customers a service which includes the vessel/trailer registration and warranty registration of their new purchase.  They will also maintain product files on all inventory and offer support in various areas within the company including Products and Sales.

KEY TASKS:

  • Assist with receptionist area.
  • Answer telephone and gives information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals
  • Accurately complete the entire title work process on all new and used vessels and other purchases in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain all customer deal files
  • Handle calls to and from customers, tag offices and federal offices concerning title related issues.
  • Maintain good working relationship with customers by providing timely processing of vessel registrations.
  • Complete warranty registration entry for hull, engine(s) and generator on all new vessels.
  • Complete supplier warranty transfer forms on used vessels.
  • Maintain Boat, Motor, and Trailer inventory files for store.
  • Complete paperwork for boat transfers between stores, change location, and correct pricing.
  • Enter trades, brokerage, loose motors and trailers into system.
  • Respond to all requests for deal or BMT files. Keep organized system of tracking file transfers.
  • Provide assistance at boat shows and other off-site promotional events.
  • General office duties including copying, collating, faxing, and filing.
  • Represent MarineMax when communicating with persons outside the company.  Always presents a good impression of the company.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with fellow MarineMax team members as well as customers, vendors and other outside persons.
  • Efficiently respond in an effective manner to a variety of demands and projects
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Meet established deadlines.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of the organization and the public
  • Other duties as assigned
