Overview:
The SaaS Sales Account Executive will drive growth by developing and executing sales strategies to achieve sales quotas through new customer acquisitions and increased revenue from existing accounts. This role will create and manage an effective pipeline, ongoing strategic prospecting, consultative selling, and strong relationship-building with key stakeholders in the marine service industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals within the SaaS and marine industries.
- Identify and target ideal customers by researching and prioritizing high-value prospects within the marine industry, tailoring outreach efforts for maximum impact.
- Lead product demonstrations by conducting compelling virtual or in-person demos to showcase Boatyard’s value to potential customers.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing by working closely with leadership to structure deals that align with customer needs while maximizing revenue.
- Optimize sales processes by continuously refining outreach, follow-up, and closing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain a robust pipeline by ensuring consistent follow-ups, tracking in Hubspot, and weekly reporting.
- Engage in high-volume outreach (30-50 calls/emails daily) using HubSpot to manage relationships and drive conversions.
- Collaborate across teams by working closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure a smooth customer transition.
- Provide valuable market feedback to influence the product roadmap and future enhancements.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of proven success in SaaS sales or business development.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot and the ability to manage high-volume outreach.
- Excellent communication skills, with a talent for presenting solutions to decision-makers.
- Strong technical aptitude with a desire to learn and adapt to new software.
- Knowledge of the boating or marine industry is a plus (but not mandatory).
