What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marina Operations Admin position at MarineMax Services Inc?
OVERVIEW: Performs accurate, timely and organized administration for operations within the marina. Responsible for the maintenance of office equipment and supplies. Supports the Marina department with administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
KEY TASKS:
- Responsible for performing administrative functions for the marina as directed by the Marina Manager.
- Assist Marina with any AR collections. Call customers when requested and send monthly statements.
- Create PO’s as needed. Process store payables, checking for PO’s and proper approvals prior to submitting to Shared Services.
- Monitor and reconcile petty cash and cash balances in tills. Submit reconciliations to S/S. Submit check requests to replenish as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining all company credit cards and tracking usage. Reconciles statements and submits to S/S.
- Assists Marina Manager with matching PO’s/receiving/packing slips to invoices.
- Apply cash receipts and ACH funding in system.
- Generate reports and correspondence as required, maintain filing.
- Distributes all communications to team members as required. (ECHO board)
- Assist Marina Manager in all Marketing efforts.
- Invoice, collect and apply payments for all occupied slips.
- Maintain financial and inventory records of fuel dock activities.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience for all visitors to the marina facility.
- Partners with other departments to produce special events and promotions at the marina.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding marina operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
