What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate, Platform Management position at Mariner Holdings?
We are currently seeking strong candidates for a full-time Associate, Platform Management position in our Overland Park, Kansas headquarters. As a member of the Platform Management team the Associate will be responsible for oversight of enterprise core business applications. The primary initial focus would be on portfolio management (portfolio accounting) software. This would include involvement in resolution of day-to-day production support items, defect management and input into the product roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Migrating data, workflows, and other functionality from diverse platforms into our enterprise environment
- Ensuring specific converted data points such as performance history, cost basis, composite performance, etc. reconcile with source system
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and 3rd party vendors to develop requirements that will facilitate the onboarding process for impacted data
- Manage data feeds and other integrations maintaining data integrity for inbound & outbound data
Maintain process flow across multiple teams and business applications
- Build custom workflows to automate various elements of our operational processes
- Communicate with end users to analyze issues and assess needs to optimize business solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Finance, Business or Economics preferred
- 2 years of experience in financial services preferred
- 2 years of experience with portfolio management (portfolio accounting) software preferred
Skills & Knowledge
- Background in data migration via SQL / ETL, preferred
- Previous exposure to Salesforce, preferred
- Positive attitude toward client relations to provide exceptional, proactive client service
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain the necessary attention to detail
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills, creative problem solving and strong research capabilities
- Ability to work on a team while maintaining a high level of responsibility and accountability to individual projects and tasks
