We are currently searching for qualified candidates to join our team as a Financial Planning Intern for the summer of 2025 in various Mariner locations. This paid internship program exposes interns to all facets of being a Wealth Advisor. As an Intern, you will work directly with a wealth advisor team gaining hands-on knowledge and exposure to a variety of areas, including trust/estate and multi-generational planning, investment advisory solutions and risk management. If you love building relationships, managing a diversity of tasks, have a strong attention to detail, and want to be an important part of a growing team, then this opportunity is for you!
During the Mariner Summer Internship Program, you will:
• Be immersed in financial planning topics: Actively collaborate with other team members to solve real-life issues, access resources, and accomplish important goals that support the client experience
• Develop professionally: Assist in the preparation of customized comprehensive financial plans and portfolios for clients
• Foster connections: Grow your network as you meet with and learn from wealth advisor teams.
• Experience our ‘Giving Back’ culture: Engage with our Mariner Foundation through community involvement events
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and December 2026
• Demonstrated leadership experience through work or extracurricular activities
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Effective in communicating to a variety of audiences both written and oral
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Word and Excel
