Main Responsibilities - Trading Assistant
- Support Credit and Rates teams trading a multitude of asset classes
- Confirm and allocate trades with firm counterparties
- Ticket and Allocate trades among funds/client accounts
- Assist Operations in investigating and resolving settlement issues
- Assist Operations and Compliance with new account and counterparty setup
- Take corrective steps to ensure trades settle in a timely manner
- Monitor market conditions in government bonds, corporates, swaps, futures and FX
- Help Identify and recommend investment opportunities
- Develop expert knowledge of trading platforms & systems
- Assist with evaluation and onboarding of new trading platforms
- Support the implementation and testing of new systems and processes to enhance the investment process
- Work with IT to develop useful tools for portfolio management, reporting and trading analytics
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-7 years of relevant work experience
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- SQL and/or R programming a plus, but not required
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
Salary : $75,000 - $125,000
