As a National Account Executive for Mariner Logistics, you will build your own book of business while handling your customers' transportation needs. Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and carriers to ensure smooth transportation of goods
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, focusing on fostering long-term relationships
  • Booking, dispatching, tracking, and tracing all trucks on loads
  • Use our CRM to identify, call and prospect core and strategic customer opportunities
  • Understanding customers' business supply chain goals and providing tailored solutions
  • Effectively executing sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual expectations
  • Work closely with other internal departments to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience
  • Negotiate Rates and contracts with carriers to secure cost-effective shipping solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain processes and improve efficiency
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities
  • Facilitate periodic business reviews to ensure alignment of customers KPI and propose process improvement solutions
  • Win trust and build credibility as a trusted advisor to all customer stakeholders

Position Requirements

  • College degree preferred, or equivalent experience in similar roles
  • 2 years of Cradle to Grave experience in the logistics industry
  • Determination to work hard and be a self-starter
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflict
  • Ability to leverage new technologies effectively
  • An obsession for great customer service
  • Ability to synthesize analysis and sales information
  • Pay includes base salary commission. Our top performers can earn up to $150,00 - 200,000 per year!

    Salary : $15,000 - $200,000
