What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Concierge Fitness Center position at Mariner Sands Country Club?
Mariner Sands Country Club is a private, gated country club community of warm and friendly residents, beautiful homes and lush surroundings on Florida’s Treasure Coast. We have two championship golf courses, a premier tennis facility, a spa and fitness center with a year-round social and club calendar that our members and their guests enjoy. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Front Attendant.
The Front Desk Attendant position provides one of the first points of Member and Guest service at Mariner Sands. This individual must be outgoing, cheerful and professional. This individual must be aware of the events that are scheduled at the Club and be able to greet Members by name.
Part Time:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answering phone with voicemail in a cheerful, professional manner
- Assists members with check-in
- Answer member inquiries in a friendly and helpful manner, directs to the appropriate staff member or location.
- Administrative support for the Fitness department
- Maintain the front desk and reception area, including cleanliness and organization.
- Directs members by utilizing daily event sheets, function sheets, or other documents of reference materials.
- Able to knowledgeably respond to any member or co-worker requests, questions, or concerns about functions going on at the club and information that may be needed to pass along to members.
- Other special projects as assigned
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Hospitality experience private club or Country Club, preferred.
- Enthusiastic, friendly and positive energy.
- Possesses a genuine desire to provide outstanding member service.
- Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, while remaining flexible to the needs of the membership
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of Windows computer applications. i.e. MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
