What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Maintenance Mechanic position at Mariner Sands Country Club?
Mariner Sands Country Club is currently seeking a skilled mechanic with a strong mechanical skillset including knowledge of basic electrical systems, hydraulic systems, mower technology and engines both gasoline and diesel. A team player with good communication skills. Must have a driver’s license and clean driving record. Must have own tools.
Responsibilities to include:
- Repairing and performing preventative maintenance on landscape maintenance equipment, utility vehicles, mowers, small engines, 2 cycle equipment, trailers and trucks
- Keeping records of repairs and maintenance on equipment
- Order parts and maintain inventory
- Clean and apply lubricants to equipment.
- Check and refill fluids in all equipment and vehicles
- Sharpen mower blades and chainsaw chains
- Troubleshooting and resolving problems in a timely manner
- Follow established procedures, practices and safety guidelines
- Maintain the shop in a clean and orderly manner
