We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Operations Associate to join our dynamic in-house marketing team. This role is critical to driving the development, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns and production materials across platforms. The Marketing Operations Associate will manage timelines and operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. This person’s efforts will directly support Mariner’s mission to enhance its marketing presence and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee multiple marketing projects to ensure timely delivery of campaigns, assets, and communications.
- Develop comprehensive project briefs that clearly outline goals, objectives, and deliverables.
- Assign digital and creative resources based on project needs, ensuring optimal team utilization and avoiding overbooking.
- Track and monitor project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation using project management tools.
- Address potential bottlenecks proactively and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain and align content and campaign calendars with overall marketing strategies.
- Generate capacity reports and assist with forecasting resource needs for upcoming projects.
- Foster collaboration across teams (design, content, development) and external partners to ensure consistency and quality in marketing efforts.
- Organize meetings, manage schedules, and document workflows to optimize project operations.
- Evaluate completed projects to identify best practices and recommend improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in digital marketing or project management; equivalent internships or certifications will be considered
- Experience working with project management platforms like Workamajig and Workfront
- Proficient in digital platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, WordPress, and email marketing tools
- Basic understanding of SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
