Job Description
- Oversee and execute volunteer onboarding and care for the Guest Services teams.
- Manage and implement various systems to operate a large volunteer ministry.
- Maintain weekly operations for services each weekend.
- Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with volunteers.
- Collect and analyze guest feedback to make data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate with ministry teams and develop relevant partnerships for ministry highlights
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and commitment to the mission of Mariners Church.
- Developing and implementing training content
- Implement effective communication strategies to inform guests and volunteers about upcoming events, programs, and services
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in relevant ministry or field
- Exhibits a customer service, can-do attitude
- Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Adept at project management, team collaboration, and empowering volunteer teams
- Experience with Rock database management or other relationship management software
- Strong track record of building relationships and establishing trust with staff and volunteers
