Job Description
- The Front Desk is a first impression, front line customer service role that supports the administrative functions of Mariners Church.
- Welcomes visitors to the church and connects each one to the appropriate next steps.
- Monitors phones and maintains a welcoming atmosphere for any guests that might be in the office area.
- Stays up to date with general information about all of the departments and programs at the church.
- Maintains work room and kitchen supplies for the benefit of all of the administrative teams.
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse groups of people
- Service and customer focused
- Comfortable working independently and dealing with ambiguity
- Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in the midst of shifting priorities
- High personal integrity and trust
- Excellent listener and communicator
- Previous reception or office management experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
