Job Description

Job Title : Emergency Room Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : Registered Nurse

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS required

Must-Have : Experience in trauma and good knowledge of pediatric population

Description :

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for the Eve / Noc shift.

The department is a Level 3 Trauma Center, as well as a STEMI and Stroke receiving Center.

The department has 31 beds with 5 resuscitation bays and experiences an average daily volume of 100 patients.

Approximately 15% of the patient volume is pediatric.

All shifts are 12 hours, and shift start times vary from 1300, 1500, to 1900.

Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS, while TNCC and ENPC are preferred.

Orientation week is not subject to a 36-hour guarantee.

There will be up to 36 hours of call-off available to the facility at no cost during the assignment.

Holiday coverage is required.

The facility uses the EPIC electronic medical record system.
