Assists with all activities concerned with Finance, including, but not limited to: Cash Management, Financial Performance, Internal Controls, Auditing, Account reconciliation, and Financial Statement preparation.
Job Requirements, Prerequisites And Essential Functions
EDUCATION
Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
Experience
required. CPA candidate / equivalent experience is preferred.
Minimum five years of recent experience in hospital accounting. Public accounting
Experience Preferred.
LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS
CPA Preferred
Integrative Agitation Management (IAM) Required within 30 days of hire

- Demonstrated analytical and interpretive ability as it relates to GAAP accounting and GAAS auditing standards
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting
- Knowledge of theory and practice of accounting and auditing systems, as indicated by prior work history
- Knowledge of reimbursement bond and fund accounting
- Experience with information systems, mainframe, and microcomputer applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels
- Experience in accounting software currently in use desirable
