Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Aluminum Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing aluminum structures such as windows, doors, railings, canopies, screen enclosures, and other aluminum-based construction materials. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to read blueprints and work with various hand and power tools.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and assemble aluminum materials based on project specifications.
- Install aluminum structures, including windows, doors, gutters, fences, and enclosures.
- Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and finishing for durability and aesthetics.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, drill, and secure aluminum materials.
- Inspect completed installations for quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Communicate with clients and team members to ensure project expectations are met.
- Follow safety guidelines and OSHA regulations while on the job site.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing aluminum installations as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an aluminum installer or similar role in construction.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and rivet guns.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights if necessary.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if travel is required).
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and procedures.
- Welding experience is a plus but not required.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or apprenticeship in metal fabrication or construction is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in aluminum installation or a related field preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
