Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Home Remodeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in residential construction, renovations, and remodeling projects, including carpentry, painting, flooring, and kitchen/bathroom renovations. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform home renovation and remodeling tasks, including carpentry, flooring, drywall, painting, tiling, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Demolish and remove old structures while ensuring safe handling of materials.
- Install and repair windows, doors, cabinetry, countertops, and fixtures.
- Follow blueprints, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with homeowners, contractors, and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all aspects of remodeling.
- Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment.
- Assess and troubleshoot issues during remodeling projects and suggest cost-effective solutions.
- Keep the worksite clean, organized, and safe throughout the project.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a home remodeler, general contractor, carpenter, or similar role.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Skilled in multiple trades such as carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and flooring installation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- (Preferred) Certification or licensing in construction-related trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
Work Environment & Conditions:
- Work is primarily on residential job sites.
