Role Overview : The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager (BDM) is to expand Marioff’s presence in the Data Center Market in North America.Approximately 40% of this role will involve influencing industry codes and standards, engaging with key stakeholders to advocate for Marioff’s innovative water-mist technology. The BDM will identify market opportunities, build and foster relationships with key data center operators, design engineers, general contractors, and other industry stakeholders, and drive business development in collaboration with Marioff’s Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and our network of channel partners, This approach ensures value creation for both data center end users and Marioff.This is a hands-on role designed for a proactive, self-driven professional who thrives in market development, relationship-building, and driving new opportunities to position Marioff as a leader in fire suppression technology.Responsibilities :
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand Marioff’s presence in the North American data center market.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both existing and potential clients, internal and external
- Network extensively to identify and connect with key decision-makers.
- Actively advocate for water-mist fire suppression systems through presentations, product demonstrations, and industry engagements.
- Participate in industry events such as exhibitions, conferences, and standards committees.
- Work to influence market standards and codes to position Marioff as a leading provider of innovative fire suppression solutions.
- Partner with internal teams to align marketing strategies and product offerings with market needs.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
- Translate client needs into actionable insights for product development.
- Provide detailed reports to management on market activities, client engagements, and industry developments.
- Share insights and recommendations to support the company’s broader growth strategies.
