ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY
Anticipated Opening for 2024-2025 for Summer Learning Opportunities
TITLE: Aide for Summer Learning Opportunities (Grades K-12)
RESPONSIBLE TO: Student Services Supervisor /Summer School Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Student Services/Summer School
DATES: June 2, 2025 - June 26, 2025 (Monday - Thursday)
LOCATION: To be determined
PAY: Rate per the 2023-2024 negotiated agreement
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Ohio Aide Permit or other appropriate permit
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Assists the classroom teacher with students.
- Individual and small group tutorial work.
- Supervises the movement of students to and from class, lunch, bus, building and grounds.
- Assist with lifting up to 100 pounds
- Assist students with personal hygiene, including toileting skills
- Collects, processes, and distributes learning materials.
- Maintains non-confidential records of all kinds.
- Review student IEP (individualized education plan) per the direction of the teacher, Summer School Administrator(s) and Director of Student Services.
- Assists the teacher in any other duties, which will be helpful to the teacher in providing a good educational program.
- Maintain confidential information regarding students
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Summer School Administrator(s) and/or teacher.

- Serve as a role model in how to conduct oneself as a citizen and as a responsible, intelligent human being.
- Adhere to and enforce all board policies.
- The employee shall remain free from any alcohol or abuse of a non-prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Student Services, Student Services Supervisor and Summer School Coordinator.

- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships

- Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attitude and conversation
