What are the responsibilities and job description for the Court Clerk Data Analyst position at Marion County Circuit Clerk?
A Court Clerk Data Analyst reviews, processes, records, analyzes and maintains the records of circuit court and provides other administrative, public, and legal support as needed. The duties of a Court Clerk Data Analyst will include, but is not limited to the following:
- Receipting monetary transactions.
- Setting up payment accounts
- Review legal documents, identify mandatory data sets, and complete tasks required to comply with the data reporting legally mandated of court clerks while maintaining data quality and integrity.
- Utilize computer skills to manage databases and generate reports as required.
- Conduct research as needed to support the Illinois court system and ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and local and Supreme Court Rules.
- Assist in customer service by responding to inquiries and guiding individuals through court processes.
- Monitor workflow and assist in training entry level staff.
- Rotate through a variety of assignments within the Clerk's office based on operational needs
- Attend court and assist in court scheduling as requested by the judiciary
- Participate in community based projects
- Attend trainings and continued education as assigned
A Court Clerk Data Analyst must have a minimum of two year experience, education or training in a clerical capacity within a legal or other professional environment and three years of experience analyzing and collecting data. Knowledge and skills required include excellent interpersonal skills, exceptional knowledge of computer applications, and possess outstanding organization skills. Individual must have experience handling monetary transactions.
This is a professional office working environment requiring telephone usage, business professional and/or a business casual wardrobe, and assisting justice partners and members of the public.
Court Clerk Data Analysts may be required to sit for long periods of time, and lift at least 30 lbs.
The hours of operation are M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with some extended hours and travel as required.
