Marion County Health Department has an opening for a Public Health Nurse.
Position Details:
- Part-time ($22.00/hour)
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8:00am-5:15pm
- No weekends or holidays
- IMRF retirement
Workers can accrue up to 40 hours of paid leave each year, in accordance with the Paid Leave for All Workers Act
Main Functions: Administering immunizations, lead screenings, TB skin tests, and assisting with other public health programs, as needed.
Essentials:
- LPN or RN license in good standing and able to pass a background check
- Knowledge and comfort administering immunizations to patients of all ages
- Excellent people skills
- Basic knowledge of public health practices
- Basic computer skills
- Dependability
- CPR certification
