Conditions of Employment

• Do you understand that pre-employment drug testing is mandatory for all prospective MCPS employees?
• Do you understand a pre-employment Level II background check will be conducted on all prospective MCPS employees? Special note : Sealed or expunged records will reveal during a Level II background check.

If in doubt, disclose and explain. Failure to disclose convictions will result in an applicant being ineligible for employment for a period of not less than six months.

Acknowledgment of a prior conviction will not automatically disqualify you from consideration for employment.

• By selecting YES, you acknowledge that you understand the below statement : "If I am NOT a current MCPS employee, and I am currently serving a court-ordered probation or currently in an open court case for any offense other than a minor traffic violation, I understand that I am not eligible for employment with MCPS until such probation is complete or my open court case is closed."
• EMPLOYMENT HISTORY CHECKS : Florida State Statute 1012.27 (6) states : "Before employing a person in any position that requires direct contact with students, conduct employment history checks of all the person's previous employers.
