The Operations Analyst designs, implements, and maintains systems related to physical security, monitoring, communication, surveillance, and other operational technologies including cameras, intercoms, license plate readers, interview rooms, alarms, door controls, and programmable logic controllers. They ensure the efficient capacity planning for video storage and implement security measures to comply with organizational policies and regulatory standards. A. Abide by the "Law Enforcement Code of Ethics".
B. Coordinate implementation and integration of systems such as license plate readers, door controls, video management systems, and security cameras.
C. Ensure maintenance, replacement, and repairs are completed in a timely manner to maximize uptime of systems.
D. Manage life cycle of operational technology so systems do not fall out of support and into disrepair.
E. Participate in budget process by providing accurate costs for future hardware, software, and service needs.
F. Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems with existing infrastructure.
G. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to network infrastructure, computer hardware, and software applications.
H. Perform system and firmware updates to ensure compatibility and secure operation.
I. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, architecture, and troubleshooting.
J. Ensure all systems are compliant with company security policies and industry regulations.
K. Provide technical support and training to end-users and other IT staff on the use of implemented systems and technologies.
L. Work closely with other departments to understand their needs and ensure the systems support their operational goals.
M. Collaborate with vendors on design and implementation.
N. Manage inventory, equipment, and tools necessary for installations, maintenance, and repairs.
O. Analyze logs to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential issues, ensuring timely detection and resolution of problems.
P. Create and generate detailed reports on system performance, security incidents, maintenance activities.
Q. Keep up to date on the latest operational technologies and recommend improvements.
R. Perform other responsibilities as required.

Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or equivalent are preferred.
Understanding of IT infrastructure, including experience with network troubleshooting and server management.
Familiarity with security systems, such as cameras, alarms, and door control systems.
Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and with the written word.
Must be able to Pass a Criminal Background Screening and Drug Screening.
Flexibility to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and participate in an on-call rotation as required.
