Job Description
Marion Excavating Co., Inc. is looking to hire full-time pit laborer. As a pit laborer for Marion Excavating Co., Inc. you will:
· Be expected to be punctual, reliable, and have an excellent work ethic.
· Preferred experience in construction site work or pit operations such has crushing and screening but willing to train a motivated worker.
· You will be able to tolerate all outside working conditions and able to perform physical labor or other physically strenuous tasks.
· You will be required to work in our pit around crushers and screeners. You will be required to pick on the crusher all debris as the material passed by. You will be required to help clean up around the crusher and screeners and help swap screens or do maintence on the equipment.
The pit laborer position receives competative wages based on experience. Our construction laborers also receives generous benefits such as health insurance, a matching 401k plan, and paid time off.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm
Seasonal overtime is often available working late during the week.
Licenses required for a construction laborer
- OSHA 10 card
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Ma hoisting license is a prefered but not required.
