- Implementing G.R.A.T.I.S and other procedures in the workplace :
- When accepting donations use G.R.A.T.I.S, (Greet. Receipt, Assist, Thank, Invite Back, Sort) to complete job processes in an efficient way.
- Manage time to where the focus can be put in different areas based on importance.
- Sort through clothing, accessories, shoes, furniture, and other wares to determine usage.
- Place sorted items on shelves, bins, or on racks.
- Interactions with customers and employee expectations :
- Greet every customer within 10 seconds of entry and offer help.
- Answer the store phone and page coworkers when needed.
- Offer help in all areas of the store when necessary.
- Make change accurately for cash transactions at cash wrap.
- Maintain safety & security measures :
- Count registers accurately making sure there are no shortages or overages.
- Safe handling of merchandise and blue bins
- Report any incidents and unsafe working conditions.
- Sanitize appropriate merchandise f
- Follow through with all state and federal health regulations and company safety policy and procedures.
