Job Summary |
This position is responsible for ensuring items get to the correct destination timely and in good condition. Responsibilities include transporting, picking up, and delivering mail, documents, packages and supplies in a timely manner between Marion Health's Physician Offices, Hospitals and ancillary sites. Filling out paperwork about completed deliveries and getting signatures from recipients upon deliver. Some deliveries are time sensitive which require special handling such as vital medical supplies, equipment, confidential media material, blood products, and other types of supplies and documents. On occasion, this position will perform back up duties of the Supply Chain Associate and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements |
- High school diploma or it’s equivalent.
- Valid driver’s License and proof of insurance with the minimum liability limits detailed in the Administrative Policy on “Insurance Coverage Required for Use of Employee Owned Vehicles.”
