Job Summary
Under the direction of the practitioner, maintains examination rooms and back office area, interacts with patients, obtains clinical history and performs tests as directed by the practitioner. Assures completeness of ordered procedures and treatments, assures smooth patient flow, performs general lab work as needed, administers injections, instructs patients concerning procedures, treatments and needs, and ensures medical orders and referrals are carried out accurately and in a timely manner. Performs registration and scheduling activities per organizational and department procedures. Maintains EMR files and performs general front offices functions as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent;
- M.A. vocational training program or equivalent training -or-
- M.A. experience for at least two (2) years in a clinical medical office setting; -and-
- CPR certification or must obtain at next available class upon hire.
- TB certification or must obtain at next available class upon hire.
