Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide essential support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care, particularly for seniors and those with memory-related challenges.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Meal plan and prepare meals as needed by participant preferences and possible dietary restrictions.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing housekeeping, including laundry, sweep/mop floors, dishes, dusting/polishing, etc.
- Light errands
- Ability to work with individuals from various backgrounds
Skills
- Proven experience in home care or senior care settings is preferred.
- Strong ability to assist with ADLs while maintaining dignity and respect for clients.
- Ability to push, pull, or tug as needed safely.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others in the community.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and supervisors.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

- Evening shift
