What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Route Bus Driver position at Marion Independent School District?
Position: Bus Driver
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Have and maintain a safe driving record.
Have or obtain a valid CDL (District is willing to support training needs for this position)
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Directors may find appropriate and acceptable.
Reports to: Director of Transportation
Performance Responsibility:
Transport students in a safe manner.
Inspect the bus prior to each trip and report concerns to the mechanic.
Represent the district in a professional and positive manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: 9 Month Agreement
- 7-9 AM and 2:30-4:30PM, Monday through Friday (Hours do Vary)
