Position : Substitute Van Driver-This is an On Call Position
Reports to : Director of Transportation
Description : We are looking for someone who enjoys working with students and driving.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Obtain and maintain a minimum of a valid Class D3 Chauffeur's license
- Pass pre-employment and subsequent driving history checks
- Pass pre-employment and periodic background history checks
- Pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening
- Pass all random alcohol and / or drug tests
- Pass all reasonable suspicion alcohol and / or drug tests
- Work well with others, including all personality types
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of, or ability to navigate, Marion and surrounding areas
- Have and use effective verbal and written communication skills
- Effectively manage student behavior
- Accept and implement coaching and training
Consistently perform thorough and accurate pre-trip and post trip inspections
