The Diagnostic Radiography Technologist performs complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by licensed physicians. Key responsibilities include:
- Technical Expertise:
- Performing basic to advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using x-ray equipment
- Adjusting equipment for optimal exposure and image quality
- Positioning patients for various anatomical views
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology
- AART registration and CPR certification
- Knowledge of local, state, federal, and AAAHC regulations
- Independent decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and communicate effectively with staff, physicians, patients, and families
