Job Summary
Under the direction of a Principal or Vice Principal, oversee and monitor the behavior of students on a school campus and at school-sponsored activities both on and off campus; general supervision of bus pick up and drop off areas; enforce applicable sections of the Education Code, the Penal Code, the District's policies and individual school rules; assist in the maintenance of an orderly and safe campus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Patrol in and around the campus during school hours providing general supervision of students outside of class and remain alert to problems likely to disrupt the educational process or be physically injurious to persons or property.
- Intervene or report to appropriate authorities in situations likely to result in disruption or injury and direct students to refrain from such conduct.
- May direct students and take action, as necessary or instructed by the site administrator, to prevent injury to persons or damage to property.

This position is part of the Classified Employee Unit at MCUSD / MCOE and will be placed depending on experience on the Classified Employee Salary schedule on Range 13.
