Company Description(s): We are a multi-disciplinary hybrid pediatric specialty company. We service both Early Intervention/Early Start (Birth-3), and pediatrics (3 years old ). Our pediatric therapy agencies provide Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Child Development, and Counseling services. A significant amount of the population we serve are needing diagnosis’s and are unable to access providers who can diagnosis within a reasonable proximity and wait time.
Job Description:
- Implement and collaborate with trans-disciplinary team services to children with a variety of developmental and diagnostic indicators (Autism, Down Syndrome, etc.)
- Attend and report at multi-disciplinary team meetings on a bi-annual and annual basis as requested and indicated by the Early Start program
- Provide consultation services to parents/caregivers, teachers, and to community specialists and professionals regarding client progress and recommendations
- Assessment and Diagnosis: use various methods, including interviews, behavioral observations, and psychological tests, to understand a person's mental health concern.
- Collaboration: collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Doctorate Degree or degree of equivalent
- Must possess current California license for Clinical Psychology.
- Pediatric Background preferred
- Specialize in child psychology, neuropsychology, forensic psychology and health psychology preferred.
- Communication: strong listening and communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with healthcare professionals
- Critical Thinking: must be able to analyze information and make sound judgments about treatment plans.
- Experience with diverse developmental delays and disorders in infants, toddlers and pediatrics.
- Spanish skills are an asset but not required.
- Strong report writing skills for multi-disciplinary reports
- Demonstrate solid professional communication and the ability to work with a variety of therapists, specialists, families and community professionals (Regional Center, social workers, physicians)
- Must possess proof of liability insurance
- Willing to relocate to area
