Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities by preparing and reviewing journal entries related to accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and recurring entries.
- Record and reconcile supplier advances, prepaid expenses, payroll costs, and other monthly accruals.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to meet period-end reporting and audit requirements, including creating roll-forward schedules.
- Create, maintain, and present key reports to management to help drive timely business decisions.
- Compile and analyze monthly inventory reports from multiple sources, identifying variances in SAP.
- Assist with job process reconciliations.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial accounts in accordance with accounting standards, internal controls, and compliance guidelines.
- Maintain clear documentation supporting financial movements in inventory.
- Collaborate with various accounting teams and the supply chain department.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts across accounting and supply chain functions.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of recent experience as a Cost Accountant, Corporate Accountant, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO, including using SAP T-Codes for cost analysis, inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance.
- Proficiency with enterprise software applications.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIF, Power Query, and financial modeling.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to process improvement and financial performance enhancement.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
