Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closings
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist in financial reporting
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
• Utilize accounting software
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
