This is a new role, designed to handle the growing data needs of our client. One of the areas that is seeing data growth is our sales and marketing area where we are relying on data to drive business decisions and work with our data science and reporting teams. There is a desire to use data to inform the business about who are customers are which products they might be interested in and how best to serve them. The strategy is to build automated data pipelines to ingest all of this data into our enterprise data warehouse and organize it for downstream consumption which will require the skills of a talented data engineer.

This role involves business and systems analysis, design, implementation and the testing of data solutions to meet and exceed the expectations of our business partners, and regulators. This is a senior role and will require the ability to self-manage projects, participate in strategy and architecture reviews and help shape the direction of data management within the organization.
What You Will Do
" Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sales and marketing systems such as Salesforce, Pardot and Adobe Analytics into the enterprise data warehouse.
" Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
" Develop strong domain expertise and lead all aspects of the SLAs for those data pipelines.
" Collaborate with various teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business partners, to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
" Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance, scalability, and consistency with recommended design patterns.
" Monitor and address data pipeline issues and collaborate with our support teams to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
" Stay up to date with the latest industry trends in data engineering and financial services, following standard methodologies.
What You Will Bring
" Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
" Must have 10 years of data engineering experience, with 5 years of working with sales and marketing systems.
" Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g. Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
" Hands-on experience with ETL tools and technologies (e.g. Informatica, Talend, AWS Glue).
" Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala specifically working with data and ETL design patterns.
" Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
" Experience in DevOps, scheduling, project management and IT governance tools and platforms such as Git, Codecommit, Rundeck, Autosys, Jira and Azure DevOps and ServiceNow.
" Experience developing on Linux and Windows platforms.
" Thorough understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle and development methodologies.
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
" Passion for learning and implementing new technologies.
