Position Overview:
Maritime Pediatric Dentistry is looking to hire a warm and energetic full-time Dental Assistant to join our highly efficient and family-oriented practice environment. Applicant must possess exceptional communication skills, be extremely punctual, have a positive and friendly attitude, be assertive, multitask well, be a flexible team player and open to learning new skills. We want someone who is committed to improving our practice and our patient care. Execution of our practice mission and commitment to these values is rewarded.
Responsibilities:
Performs coronal polishing, x-rays, sterilization, sealant placement, and assists doctor during operative procedures.
Performs duties in a manner consistent with Maritime Pediatric Dentistry’s Mission, Vision, and Values to ensure accomplishment of objectives.
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working with families
- Knowledge of standard dental practice concepts and procedures
- Excellent customer service skills and hospitality
- Hard working, outgoing, adaptable, self-motivated, and punctual
- Certification in nitrous, coronal polishing and x-rays
- Ability to learn on the job and work well with a dynamic team
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of Dental Assistant experience
