JOB SUMMARY
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
- Unload and load trailer shipments.
- Engages in MRP receiving functions and computer entry tasks.
- Lifts heavy items and may operate forklift / reach trucks.
- Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
- Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
- Prepare HAZMAT shipments according to shipping standards and regulations.
- Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
- May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
- Preform daily cycle counting when needed.
- Preform Return Material Authorizations as needed.
- Prepare, package, and ship all UK and Poland shipments weekly.
- Prepare, package, and ship all Ocean shipments when needed.
