Who We Are Looking For :
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Systems / Software Engineer for our Digital Engineering team in San Diego, CA. The Systems / Software Engineer provides technical expertise on development projects contributing to the advancement of digital printing technology. Develops and evaluates system performance, cost, risks, mitigation plans and schedule.
What you would be doing :
- Researches, identifies, evaluates, and develops new technologies for implementation.
- Develops software components into a fully functional software system. Areas include, but are not limited to, image processing, job management, print engine interface, printing pipeline and data path, vision system, ink delivery system, UV pinning system, variable data printing integration, and graphical user interface.
- Learns new technologies quickly and resolves any problems involved in integrating new technologies with existing systems.
- Performs software testing, validation, requirements analysis, and reliability analysis to minimize risk and achieve a high level of quality assurance.
- Tailors and deploys software tools, processes and metrics.
- Troubleshoots hardware, applications software, operating systems, networks, etc.
- Documents and maintains software functionality.
- Performs remote software support for systems in the field.
- Other duties as assigned.
