Role Purpose:
The Brewing Process Improvement Lead will assist Brewing Leadership in owning and prioritizing technical troubleshoots, projects, investigations, and root cause analyses. The position will be a resource to brewing employees at all levels and will assist Process Engineering, Project Engineering, and Operational Technology in all business priorities that impact the Glendale Brewing Department.
Accountabilities & Impact:
- Be a core contributor of all root cause analyses (RCAs) that impact Brewing; be a primary executor of action items that result from RCAs
- Use trending capabilities, investigative abilities, and technical aptitude to identify issues/trends and resolve them
- Represent Brewing in Kaizen events that focus on technical components of plant operations
- Assist Plant and Corporate Engineering in initiatives and project rollouts
- Serve as a back-up Control Room or Filtration Operator in cases of short-staffing or operator absences
Skills & Experiences Needed:
- Expert-level skills in the GEA SCADA system
- Advance understanding of the MAB brewing process – including blending, raw material unloading, fermentation, and filtration
- Collaboration skills
- Self-starter, find business opportunities and communicate
