Founded in 1972, the Company grew organically from a one-man wine importing business to a producer and distributor of fine wine, premium spirits, and ready-to-drink beverages, including White Claw Hard Seltzer.
Role Purpose:
The Materials Planner is responsible for all aspects of material requirements planning for the Columbia facility. They are responsible for inventory coordination, obsolescence risk mitigation, and procurement of materials to meet the production plan.
Accountabilities & Impact:
- Work with the Production Scheduler and MRP system to determine short and midterm demands for packaging materials based on the Production Plan
- Ensure all production materials are in house & available on time
- Build and maintain supplier relationships
- Maintain MRP accuracy and inputs
- Maintain product change and new item setup, providing run out plans where necessary
- Propose and lead continuous improvement process development within Supply Chain team.
Skills & Experiences Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain or related field
- 2-4 years related experience in materials planning, purchasing, or customer supply chain, logistics, etc. preferred
- Solid understanding of supply chain dynamics & MRP
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Intermediate/Advanced computer skills – O9, Excel, QAD, Power BI preferred but not required
- High attention to detail
