Network Engineer - Cloud/On-Premise

As a Network Engineer - Cloud/On-Premise, you will play a key role in maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting the organization's on-premise and cloud network infrastructure. Utilizing your expertise in network protocols, hardware, and software, you will ensure the network operates reliably and efficiently. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strengthen network security.

The role

• Plan, design, and develop local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs).
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of AWS cloud networks.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues within both on-premises and AWS cloud networks to maintain minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Configure and manage network security measures across on-premises and AWS cloud environments, including implementing security groups, firewalls, VPNs, Network ACLs, and intrusion detection systems.

What you will bring

• 5 years of network related experience.
• knowledge of network and cloud infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and AWS cloud networking services, with an emphasis on automating deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Understanding of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and SD-WAN), with the ability to integrate these seamlessly into cloud and hybrid environments using automated configuration and management techniques.
• Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible) to automate tasks and streamline network management Education

Education

• Bachelor's or equivalent experience or certifications preferred.

Compensation:

Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
